  • Condition: These are in excellent pre-owned condition. There is a small amount of candle wax inside the candlesticks that I have not been able to remove completely, but I believe they were used only once. One appears to wobble a little bit when I put it on the table, but the base is very wide so it is not an issue. Just comes with the territory of a handpainted, etc., item.

    Description

    Pair of Sberna DERUTA candlesticks / candle holders
    Approximately 8 1/2 inches tall.
    Base is approximately 4 3/4 inches across.
    Made in Deruta, Italy, at Sberna ceramics.
    These are in excellent pre-owned condition. There is a small amount of candle wax inside the candlesticks that I have not been able to remove completely, but I believe they were used only once.     According to the website, "
    Ceramiche Sberna is one of the most important factories in Deruta, which is famous the word over for their lovely handmade Italian ceramics. Sberna was founded in the late 1950’s by Francesco Sberna, a master craftsman of majolica. Today, Sberna is known for their superb craftsmanship and beautiful traditional designs."
