Hampden Rare grade No 49 pocket watch. A hard to find grade with the 17 jewel adjusted marking. The grade 49 was only marketed for the year 1898. Watch runs but needs work on the winding stem. Watch winds and sets rough and need adjusting. Original double sunk railroad dial is attractive but has some damage.. Great original hands. In nickel case. Great gilding.
