Sima Screenwriter Video Movie Character Generator Model SCG in Box

Description

For sale is this vintage electronic gadget made for inserting text into video.  It is the Sima Screenwriter model SCG and it looks to date back to the 1980-90s period.  It is still in the box and is in excellent condition and looks like it received little if any use.  No video cords or manual are included.  I tried hooking it up to my TV and the screen went black when the device was turned on but I didn't see any text or menus and nothing happened when I pressed the buttons so I don't know if it is working; it's sold as is.  Check my other listings for more vintage electronics.
