Unusual Mid Century Vintage Italian Art Pottery Vase Hand Painted Signed Mystery

And now for something a little different.... Here for your consideration is an unusual, but well-made vintage Italian Ceramic vase. The vase exterior is primarily glazed in pink (interior is white) and depicts a man playing a flute or trumpet on his way to a castle? And, there are flowers. The vase is thick, and stands 12.5" tall.  It is 5" at its widest point, the base diameter measures 3.25" and the rim diameter is 2.25". I have tried to ID this vase and signature with no luck. It says on the bottom: LB (OR LA?) within a circle, CHANTAL, ITALY. There is a glaze pop on the rim which exposed some of the Terra Cotta underneath, and there is one chip to the glaze on the side by the single flower as pictured clearly. Besides those minor blemishes, the vase in in great condition.  Perfect for someone who appreciates Mid-Century Italian art pottery and/or unique & unusual pieces.
