    Description

    Antique Reading Hardware Company (Pennsylvania) apple peeler.  The large gear, to which the handle is attached, is approximately 6 1/4" in diameter.  Appears to be mostly in fairly good condition, but there is a broken part:  see the last picture.  The break is near the center of the picture; the part is broken to the left of the pivot.  It should curve to go upwards in the picture, but that portion is missing.  For that reason, this is "as is"; it could make a decent display item, or possibly be used as either a source or receiver of parts to make one good unit.
